Cedric the Labrador - 2 Weeks Residential Dog Training

Cedric the Labrador puppy has completed his 2 week residential training stay with us.

Cedric is a lovely boy, he loves training, he’s eager to please and he’s also a big cuddle monster.
His owners have been working hard towards Cedric becoming an assistance dog but wanted some help to tweak a few unwanted behaviours that had crept in.

Cedric had started barking at people and dogs. His bark is very loud and sounds quite frightening to some people so we’ve worked on building his confidence in those situations to reduce the frequency of his response.

We’ve also worked on Cedric’s doorway manners as he loves to steam through any door first which can be quite frustrating.

On lead Cedric has made great progress too, he’s walking in a much calmer manner overall which means walking him is a real joy.

Now Cedric’s training has been fast tracked, his owners should be able to continue their journey far easier and enjoy their future together happily.
