DIY SQUID GAME DOG TREATS | DIY Pumpkin Dog Treats

Squid Game, but make it wholesome! These are pumpkin peanut butter dog treats that look like the popular Ppopgi honeycomb treats from Squid Game. RECIPE BELOW!!


Squid Game Dog Treats

INGREDIENTS (makes about 16 four-inch cookies)

4 eggs
1 cup (225g) pure pumpkin puree
½ cup (115 ml) coconut oil
½ cup (125g) peanut butter
1 ½ cups (190g) organic coconut flour
½ tsp (3g) baking soda
4” round cookie cutter
star, small circle, triangle and umbrella cookie cutters (must fit into the 4” round cookie cutter with at least 1 cm around all sides)

DIRECTIONS

Make the cookies:
1. Preheat the oven to 350F/176C.
2. Beat the eggs lightly with a whisk or an electric mixer. Add the pumpkin puree, coconut oil and peanut butter and mix until well combined. Add the coconut flour and baking soda and mix until fully incorporated.
3. Shape the dough into 2 balls, wrap in plastic wrap and chill in the freezer until firm, about 20 minutes.
4. Roll each ball of dough out between 2 sheets of parchment paper until it is ¼ inch thick. Cut out cookies with the 4” round cookie cutters, then use a spatula to gently transfer the cookie to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Press the star, small circle, triangle and umbrella cookie cutters into the center of the circle cookies, but do not remove the middle cookie! We’re just using the cookie cutters to make the shape, not a hole!
5. Place the entire cookie sheet in the freezer for 30 minutes. Then bake for 15-20 minutes, until the edges have browned. Cool completely while on the pan.
6. Serve immediately, or store in a Ziploc container at room temperature for about a week.
