Welcome to my WALMART vs TARGET price comparison video! I think you'll be semi shocked over some of the price comparisons for my pantry staples! Are grocery prices really rising or are some stores just inflated prices out of fear!? I think shortages all over are causing hiccups in our supply chain but some stores are handling it better than others!

“Cheese” sauce:
What I used this go around:
-3 russet potatoes (peeled) you can use any potato Yukon is my fav!
-4 medium carrots (peeled)
-2 cloves garlic (peeled)
*chop these, add to a pot of boiling water with a ton of salt and cook until soft
*add your cooked roots + the water in the pot (or about 3 cups of the starchy water) to a blender
Seasonings I used::: (i dont measure, i just sprinkle!)
-turmeric
-garlic
-onion powder
-parsley
-paprika
-sea salt
-nutritional yeast


GF IRISH SODA BREAD
-3 1/2 cups GF flour
-1 tsp baking soda
-1/4 tsp salt
-1 3/4 cup warm almond milk or soy milk
*Mix all ingredients together. Bake sheet pan lined with parchment paper after slightly kneading dough on counter sprinkled with flour. Bake at 450 for 15-17 minutes, turn heat to 400 and bake for an additional 25-27 minutes
^^Cool 15 minutes before cutting and serving
**Add 4 tbl of melted vegan butter to dough make this recipe even better!


Pumpkin Pie Cookies
-1 1/2 cups gf flour
-1 cup pumpkin puree
-1/2 cup sugar
-1 tsp baking powder
-1 tsp cinnamon
-1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
-sprinkle of salt
*combine all ingredients, roll into bite size cookies press down slightly with your fingers and bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes
Makes 20 cookies. Cookies are soft, bake for a tad longer if you’d like them to be crunchy!
