Happy birthday Bubbles the Pug and heated pool and fire place in the afternoon

It was a grey, overcast day at the farm today, the rain kept away for most of it until the very end, and whilst the weather can seem a little miserable, the small dog pack was not!

Racing the mini bike, herding the big ball, swimming in the heated pool and warming up by the fire place.

Zeusy and Etta leapt in with their signature dives. Zeus with his pop and plonk and Etta with her leaps of love.

At the end of the day we all gathered round and celebrated little Bubbles the Pug’s birthday with warm chicken cake and yummy pumpkin mash icing. Happiest of birthdays to you Bubbles!

This morning our girls; Elle and Evie went to work with Dad. The video of their adventures, from their perspective is on our new family channel. If you missed the post mentioning the new channel, we’ve started it so as to post the family content separately. A couple of reasons, there were a few complaints about kids being in our videos instead of just dogs (we assumed they didn’t know much about us, that we’ve always been a family home based business) but after some consideration we thought having the channel separate would give us two things. YouTube protects channels and the children that are in them, that are family/kid based by switching off comments and it also means we can share more of the family side that we wouldn’t usually share because it’s not at all business related. Like Dad getting his annual family haircut!

It’s Small Dog Day at the farm today and the girls; Elle and Evie, are off this morning to help Dad in the playground.

They’re very excited.

They helped Dad let out the doggies on the big doggy bus.

They learnt about scooping up the poop! Very interesting and funny stuff for a 5 and 3 year old!

They dug in the sand, chased, threw frisbees, kicked the big ball and drove the purple tractor!

They even chose what colours the tractor should be painted for Christmas.

Then it was morning tea time and they were exhausted. Time to leave Dad and Jason to it.
