This video shows you how the Sardines are cooked in an Air Fryer, including the preparation process. Watch the video till the end to see the complete process.
Ingredients
1 kg Sardines
2 Tbsp ground pepper
1 Tbsp of chilli powder
1 Tbsp garam masala
1 Tsp turmeric powder
2” lemongrass
1” ginger
1 ½ Tbsp Garcinia paste (“Goraka”)
Salt to taste
Process:
Add all of the above ingredients into a mini mixer or mortar and make a smooth
Using the paste, marinate the fish and keep it in the fridge for a minimum of 30min (leave it in the fridge overnight for better result)
Preheat the Air Fryer for 5 min at 180C degrees
Add a piece of Aluminium foil to the bottom of the Air Fryer to make a tray so that paste won't be stuck to the bottom. This will also avoid fish stuck to the Air Fryer bottom
Then, add the fish and cook for 20min at 180C degrees
After 20 min, the Sardines are ready to be served. This is ideal with rice, bread, roti, paratha, etc.
