This recipe is a great homemade dog treat. You can use the low fat recipe and just scoop like cookie dough and bake in a regular oven too.
The low fat recipe I used is:
1 1/2 cups wheat flour (I substituted and ground oats for oat flour - worried about allergies to wheat flour)
1 1/2 cups oats
1 med ripe banana
3/4 cup shredded carrots
1/2 cup applesauce
2 tablespoons water
Mash banana and stir in carrots, applesauce and water. In separate bowl, mix flour and oats. Slowly pour wet into dry a third at a time. Dough should be moist but hold together in a ball.
