Newborn to 3 month baby essentials - what this mother of 9 wishes she knew with a first baby

So often parents are inundated with advertisements and advice that, if you aren't careful, can make you feel like you need every gadget on Earth in order to raise your baby to be happy and healthy. While we have found some great resources over the years raising our 9 children, we have also found a few things that really aren't needed for our family. But since every family is different, and often new parents have to make choices due to limited available spending, we thought we would share some of our insights and maybe help new parents get past the expectations and just give some ideas.
