Zander the Labrador - 4 Weeks Residential Dog Training

Zander the 6 Year old Labrador has completed his 4 week residential training holiday alongside his housemate Ruby

Zander has now gone home after defying the old saying of old dogs can’t learn new tricks! Zander is such a lovely dog and has been an absolute pleasure to have stay.

During Zander’s stay we worked really hard on his confidence and ability to settle as well as focus outside. Zander is now able to settle outdoors for long periods of time and can happily relax whilst his owners can enjoy a pub lunch or a coffee date! This has been awesome progress for Zander and with his new found love of relaxing and focusing on his owners it has helped with his old ways of getting nervous of others approaching his table and becoming very territorial.

Alongside this, Zander has worked hard on making all his cues more reliable, with a massive focus on his recall, wait and lead walking. These skills will be very important for their busy London life and a baby due to join their family soon.
